This is Rama Murmu. His father died of leprosy. His mother does menial work in the fields when she can find work. Rama was shunned by all because of the family stigma of leprosy. Now he is happy as a GNI kid. Two weeks ago, he got encephalitis from a mosquito bite and has been in a coma ever since. He is just now regaining consciousness.
His medical bills have surpassed $2000. I am committed to these kids as my own and will take care of them no matter what. To love someone can be costly.

Child-trafficking is a cancer in our society today. Salgadia Happy & Holy Home Society is actively engaged in confronting this horrible menace, by getting to these girls before any child trafficker has captured them. We would rather build a fence on top of the hill than pick up people at the bottom of the hill. To date we have rescued nearly 100 girls from a potential death sentence.
